Walton Appraisals is fortunate to have three (3) designated appraisers in our office, the most of any of the local appraisal firms actively servicing Squamish, Whistler & Pemberton. We are experts in these areas.
Each appraiser has the CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation in affiliation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Each appraiser is in good standing, and is covered by full liability insurance coverage under the fee appraiser category.
David Matthews, CRA

David Matthews has been the owner/manager of the firm since Dec. 2010, and has been working with Walton Appraisals since moving to the beautiful community of Squamish, B.C. in early 1999. David has been a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) since 1993, and has appraised properties in various regions of B.C. David obtained his CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation in 1999.
David works regularly in the Sea to Sky Corridor, servicing the District of Squamish, the Resort Municipality of Whistler, the Village of Pemberton, and the surrounding (Squamish-Lillooet) Regional District (Furry Creek to Anderson Lake). David specializes in appraisals of residential, rural and recreational properties. In addition to appraising for major banks, credit unions, mortgage brokers, various private clients, etc., David has completed many assignments for legal firms, and has attended and given expert testimony in court proceedings.
Nanette Walton, CRA

Nanette Walton founded Walton Appraisals Ltd. in June 1995 after obtaining her CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation, and operated the firm until Dec. 2010.
Nanette has been an appraiser since 1992, and she has lived and worked in the communities of Squamish and Whistler since 1981.
Nanette has appraised properties throughout the Sea to Sky corridor, including Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, etc., and currently specializes in appraisals of residential and recreational properties in the District of Squamish, and surrounding areas, as far south as Furry Creek.
Nanette is on the “approved appraisers” list of all the major banks, credit unions and many other lending institutions.

Bryce Leigh is a designated CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Urban Land Economics from UBC (obtained 1976).Bryce has been with Walton Appraisals since Nov. 2000, and has been in the local appraisal field since May 1999. From 1981-99, Bryce was a licensed Realtor, and actively sold residential, recreational, investment, and commercial/ industrial properties; in Whistler from 1996-99, and previously in West and North Vancouver. Bryce appraises properties throughout the Sea to Sky corridor, and currently specializes in residential, rural and recreational properties in the Resort Municipality of Whistler, the Village of Pemberton, and the surrounding (Squamish-Lillooet) Regional District, including areas north of Pemberton such as Anderson Lake, Gun Lake, Bralorne, Gold Bridge, etc.
